As you may have heard, Attorney General Rob McKenna has joined in a multi-state lawsuit that challenges the constitutionality of the federal health care bill.

Governor Gregoire has lashed out at Rob McKenna because he did not consult with her prior to joining the lawsuit.

Rob McKenna has taken an oath of office to uphold the National and State Constitution. When he finds that there is an encroachment to either, it is his sworn duty to challenge it. He need not consult anyone.

There is one thing you can do right now, and that is write Rob McKenna and tell him that you support him. Please join me in writing to Rob. Click this link and fill out the form.

Joe Hyer (D) Quits PDF Print E-mail

Joe Hyer (D) quits his council position effective Tuesday as reported by The Olympian. Joe Hyer is currently serving as Mayor Pro Tem on the Olympia City Council. He has been arrested and charged on drug-related felonies. He cites a heavy workload as the reason.

“Five years on this council has been a tremendous toll emotionally, physically and mentally for me, as well as running a business,” said Hyer
