Dan Cathers has joined the Executive Committee as the new Executive Officer. Dan is no stranger to the Thurston County Republican Party; he is the immediate-past Chairman.
Dan is the 2008 Republican of the Year award recipient, his leadership and involvement speaks for itself. If you have a chance take a minute and thank Dan for his continued involvement and for his dedication to our party. |

The first Central Committee meeting has been scheduled. Date: Tuesday, March 24 Time: 6:30 PM Location: Thurston County Courthouse The meeting will be a total of two hours. The first hour will be cental committee meeting business, and the second hour will be PCO training. |

The Thurston Republicans announce the launch of their new website today. At first glace, the website has the same look and feel as the old site, but the new site has greater functionality. The site will facilitate a more timely and effective communication. The site features security and permissions, in other words, the public sees a limited amount of information. Registered users get the enhanced version of the site. Some of the features of the new site are: events calendar, email subscriptions, easy interface for members to contribute articles to name a few. We have also created an official facebook and blogger account. These three sites together are cornerstones in our communication strategy. |

 Thurston County Women’s Republican Club
The Thurston County Women's Republican Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at Hawks Prairie Inn, 8306 Quinalt Drive NE, Olympia, Wa 98513 (Off Exit 111). The February meeting will take place at the State Capitol. The June meeting is a potluck picnic in the Rose Garden at Priest Point Park.
